Lies, Ezines & Ads

Lie Twice To Be Convincing
A recent study reported in Acta Psychologica showed that people are likelier to believe others when a lie is repeated twice by the liar.

Book Review
The fiscal cliff. A divisive presidential election. Economic recovery. Occupy Wall Street. The Tea Party. Arab Spring. So much went on in 2012 and I cannot think of a better way to reflect on the events than to read Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year: 2013 Edition, edited by Steve Kelley. Pelican Publishing Company recently sent me a copy and I could not put it down. Nothing explains politics, human nature, and events of the day better than a cartoon.

Kelley, who has served as the staff editorial cartoonist for the Times-Picayune in New Orleans and SD Tribune for a combined three decades, selected the best editorial cartoons from the country’s newspapers. The 41st annual edition will leave you feeling informed and entertained.
